EastCreek is not too deep, but
if you go far enough from shore
EastCreek is over your head, and
when the tides are changing
there is a strong current.
EastCreek is where old meets new.
Not one of those mountain creeks
(always running down),
EastCreek is a tidal creek where
salt water from the sea and
fresh water from the earth and air
meet and mix.
The sea feeds EastCreek
saltwater for each high tide, and
sucks out some creekwater
for each low tide.
Meanwhile, groundwater, rain and runoff
feed EastCreek fresh water
according to the seasons and the weather.
